• "Seljacka - Kuca" apartments are in a beautifully restored stone house in the old village of Gata, just 7 km from the historic "Pirate" town of Omis. Situated in the country side with mountains all around, plus views of the sea. There is also a traditional Dalmatian restaurant, or "Konoba", just across the road, serving you traditional Dalmatian dishes in an authentic setting.
  
  
• In the last few years, Omis has become a synonym for adventure, "extreme" sports and "adrenaline" holidays, mostly thanks to its magnificent river and its canyon. Rafting, free-climbing, paragliding, scuba diving, canyoning, canoeing and kayaking are the reasons for coming here for those who long for adventure and for those who want direct contact with virgin nature. There are several ways to experience the adventure, such as organised excursions, which include trekking, walking along the canyon, exploring caves accompanied by experienced and expert guides, etc. These include an option to have dinner in an authentic village with healthy, traditionally cooked meals on the menu. For those who are here to rest and enjoy the sun, there is the local countryside or the local sandy beaches with their many facilities.
  
• The house also has a museum room showing you exactly what an original Dalmatian kitchen was like, which guests can use if you would like to do a grill in the traditional way. In fact, the owner of the house was born in this room!
