An den schönen Stränden die sich in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden, können Sie den ganzen Tag die Sonne und das klare und warme Wasser genießen. Sollte Ihnen die Hitze doch zu viel werden, so können Sie im Schatten der Zypressen Abkühlung finden.
Ausflüge
In der Nähe unserer Pansion Podstrana gibt es vieles Sehenswerte und Sie können sich auch sportlich betätigen.
Empfehlenswert ist z.B. ein Tagesausflug in die nahe gelegene Stadt Omis. Der Fluss Cetina bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit dort eine Raftingtour durchzuführen. Weitere Tips für Unternehmungen finden Sie auf den nachfolgenden Seiten.

Unser Haus
Liebe Gäste, hier möchten wir Ihnen gerne einen kleinen Eindruck über die Umgebung, unser Haus, sowie den Ferienwohnungen und den Zimmern verschaffen. Alle unsere Apartments und Zimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage sowie über eine Waschmaschine. Die unteren Zimmer haben eine Waschmaschine in einem extra Raum. Die Kurtaxe ist bei uns bereits im Preis enthalten.
Sie müssen sich auch keine Sorgen machen wenn Sie über die Strasse gehen wollen. Es gibt eine Unterführung und so sind Sie sofort am Strand.

Jeder Gast wird von uns verwöhnt, das heisst die Chefin des Hauses bereitet für Sie ein gratis Essen zu, dabei können Sie auswählen ob Sie fangfrischen Fisch oder Fleisch möchten. Das dazugehörige Gemüse kommt aus den Gärten der Umgebung und unser Wein und das Olivenöl ist selbstverständlich auch "Selbstgemacht".
Umgebung
Podstrana ist ein interessantes Gebiet mit mediterranem Klima. Das milde Klima und die malerische Landschaft machen die Region für einen Urlaub sehr interessant.
Luftbild PodstranaAuf sanften Hängen in Richtung Meer, Olivenbäumen, Steinmauern und Weinberge umgeben von wilder Vegetation zeigt sich der höher gelegene Teil in Richtung der Berge. In der Nähe von Split entwickelte sich Podstrana als schöne Vorstadt, ein attraktives touristisches Ziel, ein Platz von lächelnden und freundlichen Menschen.
Aufgrund der Nähe von Split sind alle Verkehrsanbindungen in der Nähe: Flughafen 30 km, Fähre 8 km, Busbahnhof 8 km, Bahnhof 8 km, Entfernung von der Autobahn 18 km.
WassersportPodstrana ist eine gute Wahl für einen Urlaub denn es bietet gut organisierte und aktive Ferien. Aufgrund der geografischen Besonderheiten stehen interessanten Gästen diverse Freizeitaktivitäten in der Natur zur Verfügung: Wander- und Radwege, den Aufenthalt im alten Podstrana, besuchen Sie kulturelle und historische Stätten. Als Wassersport kann angeboten werden: Windsurfen, Segeln, Katamaran, Wasserski und Wasser-Skating. FischpicknickEs besteht die Möglichkeit einen Rafting Ausflug auf dem 15 km entfernten Fluss Cetina zu organisieren.
Auch empfehlenswert ist organisiertes Reiten in der Natur, Fisch-Picknick auf der Insel Brac, Hvar, Vis, Korcula und Solta. It you should get too much of the Dalmatian sun and the heat, you can take a cooling break under the cypresses.
Excursion: In the vicinity of our Guesthouse in Podstrana, you can find lots of interesting sights and of course also a wide range of sporting activities. We recommend you to visit the city of Omis, the city is a typical Croatian tourist location, the highlight of Omis is the river Cetina which estuary in to the Adriatic Sea in Omis, do to this, Omis offers a wide range of sports activities on or along the riversides, the offer include river rafting, canyonning, hill climbing.
If you should not wish having to cook in the morning, you might want to consider our rich breakfast buffet, which can be booked as a supplementary service at the price of 5 Euro/day. The Breakfast buffet is a good and healthy basis, for an active day on the beach or a sightseeing trip to the surrounding area.

We will of course be glad provide to provide you with information about the surrounding areas, and will be glad to pass on some of our insider tips, as well as our recommendation for getting around in the area.
We like to spoil our guest a bit, the (female) boss of the house will be prepare you a local meal, with fresh fish our meat if you prefer that, the side dish will by vegetables from our own house garden, and of course we will invite you to taste our homemade wine and olive oil.

In the vicinity of Split, Podstrana has evolved as one of the most beautiful suburbs, an attractive tourist destination, and a place of smiling and friendly people.
Water sports: Podstrana is a good choice for a vacation, as I offers a well organized selection of vacation activities. Due to the geographical features of the area, guests has a variety of nature recreational activities available, like e.g. hiking and biking trails. The upper part of Podstrana, is a unique historical site, with old stone houses, from here there is a magnificent view on Split and the Adriatic see. Fisch piknicIn terms of Water activities, more or less everything can be found in the area, some of the most popular is windsurfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, water skiing and water-skating. In Omis 15 km south of Podstrana there is the possibility of a rafting trip, hill climbing and cannoning on, and next to, the river Cetina. We can also recommend organised riding tours, a fish picnic tour to the islands, Brac, Hvar, Vis, Korcula and Solta. A most do, is to visit the cultural and historical centres in Split and Trogir, also Salona, Klis and Sinj, are historical and cultural sight of great value. A large number of restaurant in the are, ensures a great culinary selection of both food and wines.
